About Us
Principled Advocacy. Practical Results.
WW Government Relations was founded to strengthen the connection between policy and real-world outcomes. We exist to elevate ethical advocacy, bring clarity to complex government processes, and ensure that sound ideas have a voice in Tennessee’s policymaking.
Our approach blends deep policy knowledge with practical experience inside state government. We don’t just understand how laws are written: we understand how decisions are made, how relationships are built, and how issues truly move forward.
Meet the Founder
WW Government Relations is led by Warren Wells, whose career has been shaped at the highest levels of Tennessee state government. For nearly two decades, Warren has worked across both the executive and legislative branches of the State of Tennessee, including serving as chief lobbyist for the administration of Governor Bill Haslam. In that role, he helped lead legislative strategy before the Tennessee General Assembly and advance the administration’s policy priorities.
Following his public service, Warren directed state government affairs for a Fortune 500 company, where he represented corporate interests and navigated complex regulatory and legislative environments in all 50 states.
Warren has also been appointed by Governor Bill Lee to multiple state positions, reflecting his continued commitment to public service and his passion for education policy.
He brings a rare, “inside-the-building” perspective on how decisions are made, how policy advances, and how results are achieved. That perspective—earned from years of service within government—guides every aspect of WW Government Relations’ work on behalf of its clients.
In addition to his government experience, Warren has served as a nonprofit CEO, providing executive leadership and organizational oversight. He is also a combat veteran, having served nine years in the Army National Guard, including a 12-month deployment to Iraq’s Anbar Province during Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he earned the Combat Action Badge.
